Abstract:
Drag Reducing Agents (DRA) also known as Flow Improvers, reduce frictional and energy loss of pipelines by easing the pipeline turbulence, enabling companies to strategically reduce or avoid capital expenses, improve pipeline operating costs and/or expand their pipeline system capacity.
It has helped oil and pipeline industry in maximizing the flow potential of pipelines, increasing operational flexibility, throughput capacity and substantially, hence increasing bottom-line profit potentials.
