The drag reduction performance of DRA is dependable on many variables and the Reynolds Number might be the most significant one. The charts below just serve to illustrate general correlation of dosage and drag reduction & flow increase when DRA is applied in different media (light, medium and heavy oils). The actual performance in a specific pipeline would be achieved by pipeline test.
